Mental Health Coalition


The Mental Health Coalition directs its attention to the mental health needs of all residents in Southeast Missouri. The committee has sponsored annual Autism Conferences, International Survivors of Suicide Loss, and Mental Health Awareness month. The committee strives to provide information and resources to families. Suicide and bullying prevention are a top priority in the work of this committee. Partners include FCC Behavioral Health, Poplar Bluff School District, University of Missouri, MERS Goodwill, Children's Division, SEMO Behavioral Health, and Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

No One Walks Alone - Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk


International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is an event in which survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experience. This year, 271 International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day sites will take place around the world. Like us here, loss survivors are connecting with one another in their local communities in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Nepal, Russia, Scotland, Taiwan and in the United States.
